Angel has been serving our patients since 2006 as a paraprofessional with knowledge in every area of the practice – billing, explaining insurance benefits, assisting in frame selection, handling IT needs, and coordinating the patient experience from check in to check out. As our practice manager, she is available to answer any of your questions ranging from insurance coverage to medically necessary contacts to which lens option will suit your needs. She is here to ensure that you have a phenomenal experience with every visit to our office.
Licensed Dispensing Optician
Jane has been working with the practice as our lab technician for over 35 years. She received her opticianry license after fulfilling apprenticeship requirements set by the state of Ohio. You may not see Jane in person, as she is usually upstairs in our lab verifying the accuracy of incoming orders and edging lenses to fit your chosen frames. She’ll guarantee that your lenses are made to the highest standards for your comfort and functionality.
Certified Paraoptometric Technician
Denee joined our practice in 2017 and assists the doctors by obtaining vital eye measurements, performing scans, and updating your health history prior to your appointment. She graduated from DeVry with an Associate’s Degree in Health Information Technology in 2009. She then completed her Certified Paraoptometric Technician training with Madison Area Technical College and graduated in 2013. Her kind attitude and attention to detail will ensure you receive the best eye exam possible.
Breanna is an optician who became a member of our team in 2019. Prior to our practice, she has specialized in opticianry for two years and became very familiar with multiple insurances. Breanna is responsible for adjusting, ordering, and dispensing glasses to our patients. She also provides compassionate, but honest feedback about aesthetic frame choices. She takes the initiative and assists all patients in a timely manner. Breanna will be happy to answer any questions you may have in regards to your prescription, glasses, and insurance.
Technician / Optician
Haleigh joined our team as an ophthalmic technician in 2019. She graduated from Zane State College in 2018 with an Associate of Science with a minor in health administration and an Associate of Liberal Arts. She is responsible for performing vision and diagnostic testing and taking medical histories. As Haleigh conducts patient work-ups, she instructs each patient about the test/ procedure she is performing. She works with both of our optometrists to make sure specific needs are met for our patients and all concerns are met. Haleigh’s empathy for our patients will ensure you are well taken care for the duration of your appointment.
Alanna is the newest member of our team. She has an extensive background with insurance companies and can provide a detailed explanation of your benefits. She promptly welcomes all patients and visitors, retrieves your insurance information, and can explain any procedures that will occur during your appointment. Alanna is primarily responsible for scheduling patients within your availability, also. She protects your rights as a patient by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information. Alanna is eager to grow with our practice and will learn many aspects of our business.
